Tonight was another Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. The cars were ready. Now if I could have gotten rid of the headache, I might have actually enjoyed it more.
I even let Lance do a car even though he likely wouldn’t get to race it on the track a whole lot. It made him happy to build another one. I am sure he’s going to be all about the derby when he gets into Cub Scouts in a couple of years.
Kyle put “Hot Rod” stickers on his car. It was a pretty nice looking car if I do say so myself. His car did not, however, win. It didn’t come in dead last, but it didn’t do too hot either.
We’ll have to try again next year.
